
Riverhawks Fill Holes in Roster at Final Tryout

JOHNSTOWN, PA, - This past Saturday, the Johnstown Riverhawks of the American Indoor Football Association held their final regional tryout at the White Township Recreation Center in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Approximately 30 players turned out for the early morning workouts, many of which were already on the bubble with the team. "We were able to shore up a couple of problem areas that had concerned us and we feel that now we are in a good position as we go into training camp", said head Coach Steven G. Folmar.
The Riverhawks will report to training camp with physicals and opening meetings on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the White Township Recreation Center. Practices will be there for the remainder of the week from 10pm until midnight. Practices are normally open to the public.
The Johnstown Riverhawks, a proud member of the American Indoor Football Association will kick off the 2007 season on February 2, 2007, at the War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The Riverhawks will open up against the defending champion Canton Legends and need your support!
