
Canton Legends Host Season Kick-Off Party, Honor 2006 Championship Team

The Canton Legends hosted a 2007 Season Kick-Off and Championship Ring Ceremony at the Fox and Hound English Pub and Grille on Sunday January 14. Players and coaches on the 2006 Canton Legends Championship team received their Championship rings in front of 100 fans and sponsors. Fans were introduced to new Legend players and new coach Mike Brown.
Emcee, Coach Ed Korns, introduced the Lady Legend Dance Team and the new Leatherhead Booster club-the official fan club of the Canton Legends. Those interested in becoming a Leatherhead and enjoying VIP benefits may contact the Canton Legends at (330) 453-8440 for more information.
The 2007 Season Kick-Off and Championship Ring Ceremony was sponsored by McKinley Grand, World Gym, Sign Pro, SARTA, Knights Inn, Chic-Fil-A, Army and Dr. Coss. The host site, Fox and Hound English Pub and Grille-located at 4770 Everhard Rd NW-is the official Legends post-game party venue. Fans can join Legend players and coaches there after every home games.
The Canton Legends kick-off their season on the road February 2 against the Johnstown River Hawks. The Legends first home game is Friday, February 9 at 7:00 at the Civic Center. They will begin defense of their championship title against the Erie Freeze. After home games, fans can meet and take photographs with players.
