Reno Bighorns Acquire Franchise Record-Setter Desmon Farmer

Reno, NEV., Jan. 31, 2013 - The Reno Bighorns today acquired guard Desmon Farmer from the available player pool.
Farmer (6-5, 220), who previously played for the Bighorns in the 2009-10 season, holds multiple franchise records for Reno, including most points scored in a season (1163) and field goals made in a season (365). In 49 games during the 09-10 season, Farmer averaged 23.7 points and 4.7 assists per game.
The USC product has spent the last two seasons playing overseas, spending time in Croatia and Israel.
The former NBA D-League All-Star also holds the Bighorns' record for most points in a game with 41 and most minutes played with 52.
Farmer will be with the Bighorns as Reno hits the road again next weekend for a two-game set against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Fans can watch the games for free, online via Youtube.
Fans can catch the old fan favorite back in Reno next Thursday, February 7th as the Bighorns take on the Santa Cruz Warriors at the Reno Events Center at 7 p.m.
