Fort Wayne Fusion News Release

Jeremy Golden's heart bleeds Fort Wayne Fusion orange. Come January, his hair will probably be Fusion orange. Golden has renewed his promise to paint his receding hair if the team sells 1,000 tickets through its Corporate Angels program.

"The business community has responded like I predicted. They are telling us that they want to help charities and they want to do it through our team. I've decided to extend the deadline to December 31 to meet that goal," Golden said.

"Just 150 tickets - Corporate Angel or general season tickets and I'll come back from my Holiday vacation sporting a new orange hairdo," Golden said.

With the end of the year approaching, this is a perfect way for businesses to benefit the community and get a tax-break.

The Corporate Angels program is completely tax-deductible and connects business with local charities. For more specific information, log on to www.fwfusion.com or call the team at 260-484-4095.

Golden also has announced the teams first annual "Operation Frozen Fusion." When the Fusion fan club meets for the first time, January 11, Golden will climb into a dunk tank to brave the frigid January temperatures. The public is invited to the event. Anyone who purchases a season ticket that night, will have the opportunity to take aim at the outspoken (but not by many) owner.

'If you don't like me talking smack, and then shut me up by putting me in the drink," Golden laughed. He has also committed to donating $1 per ball tossed to Metro Youth Football.

During the event, the Fusion will also host a football toss event. The winner will be named Honorary Coach and be awarded seats on the Fusion bench for the March 16 exhibition game with Mahoning Valley. The winner will also be given the opportunity to call a play in the game March 16 against Green Bay.
