Slaughter Fans,

On behalf of the front office staff, I would like to thank each fan for helping to make our charity drives a huge success. We are overwhelmed with the support and generosity we received from our fans.

Little City Foundation

As a part of Dr. Seuss Theme Night, we asked fans to donate books to benefit The Little City Foundation. Little City engages and supports individuals, families and communities to ensure that children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities can realize their unique potential to live safely, learn continuously, explore creatively and work productively throughout their lifetimes. For more information about The Little City Foundation, visit www.littlecity.org.

Shriners Hospitals for Children

We hosted two toy drives to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. As a result, we delivered three car loads of toys to Shriners. Shriners Hospitals for Children® is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals. Children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients' ability to pay. For more information, visit their website.

Operation Care Package

During the month of May, we hosted two drives to benefit our Military overseas. We're proud to partner with Operation Care Package, a 501c3 dedicated to their mission that no Hero serving our Nation should be forgotten. Their goal is to support our Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen through care packages and letters of encouragement. For more information on Operation Care Package, visit their website www.operationcarepackages.org.

You, the fan, have made a difference in many people's lives through your donations. We are truly proud that you are Chicago Slaughter fans.

Thanks again,

Erin Wiencek
