
Hughley Named AFL Ironman of the Week

Jeff Hughley has been named the JLS Ironman of the week in the AFL after his outstanding performance on the road against the Alabama Vipers.
Hughley finished the game with 9 catches for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 4 kick returns for 116 yards and converted a 2-point conversion after a faked extra point. Hughley is now 3rd in the AFL in kick return yards (1,371) and all-purpose yards (2,484).
The Talons are back at home this Saturday, July 24th to take on the Arizona Rattlers at 7pm at the BOK Center. This will be the 2nd meeting of the season between the 2 clubs. The Rattlers scored with no time left on the clock to defeat the Talons 77-76 on April 23rd. It is United Way night presented by Channel 8. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be given back to the United Way to help kick off their campaign. Call the Talons off at 294-1000 for ticket information.
