Evansville Rage Make Front Office Change
(Evansville, Ind. March 6, 2012) The Evansville Rage is proud to announce Eddie Cronin as the team s General Manager, effective immediately. Cronin has been a part of the organization from the start as the defensive coordinator. He will keep this position and add the duty of GM.
Mr. Cronin stated I am honored to be placed in this position. I want our team, and this city, to be synonymous with success. With hard work and determination we will become the championship organization that this city deserves. I will be an active GM who will work alongside everyone else in the trenches to make this city proud.
David Reed, the former General Manager, resigned from the duties due to an illness in his family that requires his full attention.
The team will continue to compete in the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) and will be play all games on Clarion Field at Swonder Ice Arena, located at 209 North Boeke Evansville, Indiana.
I am proud to have Eddie as our GM, says head coach Mike Goodpaster, He has been performing GM duties while Mr. Reed was away and he will excel in this position. I believe this will transition will be in the best for all parties involved. We will continue our march for domination in the CIFL.
The Rage plays in the CIFL and will play their last preseason game against the Kentucky Xtreme on Friday March 9, 2012. Regular season play begins March 17 against the Indianapolis Enforcers. Ticket information can be found at http://www.evansvillerage.com.
