
Dequan Jones Wins 2018 NBA G League Dunk Contest

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Fort Wayne Mad Ants guard, DeQuan Jones, won the 2018 NBA G League Dunk Contest on Sunday at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Jones earned 94 points after his first two dunks in the preliminary round, including a 50-point dunk.
He advanced to the finals and defeated Michael Bryson of the Iowa Wolves, 86-74.
Jones joins Tony Mitchell (2013 and 2014) as the only Mad Ants players to win the NBA G League Dunk Contest.
Also competing in this year's contest was Aaron Best of Raptors 905, Ike Iroegbu of Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario and Ike Nwamu of Sioux Falls Skyforce.
The Mad Ants will return to action on Wednesday at the Wisconsin Herd. Tip is set for 8 p.m. ET on Facebook.
