Nebraska Danger News Release
GRAND ISLAND, NE - For the first time in 2019, the Nebraska Danger sees one of its own advance to a higher league in football as offensive lineman Sean Brown got the call from the AFL. Brown will be joining the Albany Empire, whose season starts on April 27th.
Brown earned his stripes while playing this winter for the Nebraska Danger. He was an anchor of the offensive front for the Danger amidst their 2-3 start to the year, helping give quarterback Tommy Armstrong plenty of time to be on a record pace for several Danger offensive statistics.
"I want to congratulate my offensive lineman Sean Brown on moving up to the AFL," Danger Head Coach Pig Brown said. "It's always good to see these young men get greater opportunities to pursue their careers. Prove to me you don't belong."
Before coming to the Danger, Sean Brown played at Mississippi Valley State University and Nassau Community College. In high school, Brown was a multi-sport athlete, also lettering in basketball and track and field.
