
Bane Named Player of the Week After Record-Setting Game

RICHMOND, Va. (May 5, 2015) - Richmond Raiders QB Jonathan Bane was named Offensive Player of the Week by the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) on Tuesday after a record-setting performance in Saturday's game. Bane led the Raiders offense by throwing for ten touchdowns en route to an 87-58 win over the Alabama Hammers. This is a PIFL single-game record.
In addition to Bane's stellar performance, the team also set a league record for number of points scored in a single game at 87. Their collective effort earned three other Raiders Honorable Mention in each Player of the Week category. WR Robert Holland was an Honorable Mention for offense, DB Kevin Allen for Defense, and K T.C. Stevens for Special Teams.
The Raiders are next in action Sunday, May 10 as they travel to Erie to take on the Erie Explosion. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
