Alan Fuehring Named Voice of the Sound Tigers

Broadcaster/Communications Manager spent the last two seasons in the ECHL
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that Alan Fuehring has joined the organization as its new communications manager and play-by-play broadcaster.
"We are thrilled to have Alan as an integral member of our organization," Sound Tigers President Michael Picker said. "His experience, and most importantly, his work ethic will be a key asset."
Fuehring comes to the Sound Tigers after serving two seasons as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations with the ECHL's Greenville Swamp Rabbits, formerly known as the Road Warriors. In addition to his broadcasting responsibilities in Greenville, he led the team's media relations and social media efforts and contributed to the organization's website, which won ECHL Website of the Year honors for the 2015-16 season. Fuehring was also named a finalist for ECHL Broadcaster of the Year last season.
Prior to Greenville, Fuehring began his career in video production at Fox Sports in Charlotte, North Carolina and also served one season as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations with the Peoria Rivermen (Southern Professional Hockey League).
A native of Morton, Illinois, Fuehring graduated from nearby Bradley University and spent three seasons as a media relation's assistant with Peoria's American Hockey League team while in school.
