Aaron Craft Earns All-NBA Development League All-Defensive Team Honors

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Santa Cruz Warriors point guard Aaron Craft was selected to the 2015-16 All-NBA Development League All-Defensive Team, it was announced today by the NBA D-League.

Craft (6-2, 192, Ohio State) played and started in 30 regular season games for Santa Cruz during the 2015-16 season, averaging 13.5 points, 7.3 assists (good for second-highest in the League), 4.6 rebounds, and 2 steals in 35 minutes.

Craft was named the 2015 NBA D-League Defensive Player of the Year after starting in all 50 regular season games for Santa Cruz during the 2014-15 season, leading the team to a franchise first NBA D-League Championship. During the 2014-15 campaign, he anchored a Warriors defense that held opponents to league-lows 42 percent shooting from the field and 99.6 points per 100 possessions, while individually averaging an NBA D-League best 2.5 steals and topping the league with a 1.4 steal-to-turnover ratio.

A four-year contributor at Ohio State, Craft was a two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year (2012, 2014) and was named the NABC Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2014.

He joins Keith Appling (Erie), Jordan Bachynski (Westchester), DeAndre Liggins (Sioux Falls), and Micheal Eric (Texas) on the 2015-16 All-NBA Development League All-Defensive Team.
