Fuel Announce 2015-16 Broadcast Partners

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, announced Tuesday the renewal of the team's television broadcast agreement with RTV6 and HTSN, as well as the club's radio agreement with CBS Sports 1430. During the 2015-16 season, Fuel home games will be broadcast on HTSN with select dates aired on RTV6 while all 72 regular-season games, home and away, will be broadcast live over the air on CBS Sports 1430, online at cbssports1430.com and on smartphones everywhere via the free TuneIn radio app.

"As an organization, we are excited to once again provide Fuel fans with the opportunity to catch every second of Fuel hockey next season," said Fuel CEO & COO Sean Hallett on Tuesday. "We couldn't be happier to once again work with our great partners at RTV6 and Entercom Indianapolis." All Fuel games will additionally be available for purchase in the form of video webcasts via ECHL.TV.

For the second-consecutive season, veteran Indianapolis hockey voice Jim Mirabello will return as the television play-by-play announcer. Joining him in the booth this season is former NHL defenseman and Indianapolis hockey legend Mike Berger (pronounced bur-JHAY), and sideline reporter Talor Whitaker. Indianapolis-headquartered WebStream Sports, a Raycom Media Company, will produce the Fuel's broadcasts for the second consecutive season.

In addition to the Fuel's game broadcasts, the team announced an expanded slate of weekly coverage on CBS Sports 1430, including "Indy Fuel Live," airing Tuesdays from 6-7:00 pm EST, featuring Fuel Head Coach Scott Hillman and Fuel players, broadcast live from the all-new Sinking Ship 2 - located at the former Moondog Tavern at 4825 E 96th St. #1600 in Indianapolis. In addition, the Fuel will air "Indy Fuel Weekly," a talk-driven Sunday morning recap of the week that was in Fuel hockey, from 10-11:00 am EST, featuring analysis and commentary from Fuel broadcasters and IndyPuck.com's "Fuel Insider" Andrew Smith.

In 2015-16, the Indy Fuel drop the puck on their second season in the ECHL.
