All-Star Defenseman Oslanski Returns to Alaska

ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce the signing of defenseman Landon Oslanski to a contract for the upcoming ECHL season.

Head coach Rob Murray made the announcement Tuesday.

The 23 year old Oslanski, a native of Camrose, Alberta, Canada, returns to Alaska after playing in 14 games for the club last season. He scored 2 goals and added 7 assists for 9 points after coming to the Aces from the Missouri Mavericks.

Oslanski began the season with the Rapid City Rush last year, and played in the ECHL All-Star game.

The 5' 10", 190 pound blueliner began his professional career with the Stockton Thunder after 4 seasons in the Western Hockey League with Spokane, Lethbridge and Everett.

"Landon is a gifted offensive defenseman with a great ability to get a shot through traffic," said Murray. "We anticipate that he'll quarterback many of our powerplay opportunities."

Exhibition games October 12-13 are general admission at $15, $10 for season-ticket holders.

The 2015-16 regular-season opener is Friday, October 16. Season and group tickets are on sale now...single-game tickets will go on sale in October.
