Mad Ants Take Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals

FORT WAYNE, IN (April 16, 2015) - TheMad Ants, sponsored by Lutheran Health Network, fought off the Canton Charge inGame One of the Eastern Conference Finals to come out on top 105-91 on Thursday,April 16th at the Allen Co. War Memorial Coliseum.

Thefirst half presented a back and forth battle that gave the visitors theadvantage early on, but momentum swung back in favor of the Mad Ants as theytook a consistent lead the majority of the second quarter; which would be cutdown as they trailed 59-58 at the half. Jordan Crawford ended his first halfleading all scorers with 15 first half points. Matt Bouldin followed with 10first half points of his own.

Canton would not remain quiet for long, as they came outof the half putting a quick 8 point lead between them and the Mad Ants. With alate third quarter lay-up from Crawford and a quick steal from Bouldin, the MadAnts would develop a lead that would stem from the end of the third quarter tothe end of the game, allowing for the 14 point advantage and the one game leadin the playoff standings. Crawford ended his night leading all scorers with 27points and 8 rebounds. CJ Fair followed with 22 points and Bouldin finishedwith 17.

For the Charge, Stephen Holt would lead with 21 points.James Singleton followed with 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Playoff action continues with Game Two of the EasternConference Finals as the Mad Ants travel to Canton Sunday, April 19thfor a 6:00 p.m. tipoff. This game will be broadcasted live on ESPNU.
