Bighorns Blowout the BayHawks

RENO, NEV., Dec. 14, 2014- The snow fell outside, while the Bighorns fans stood to their feet as the Bighorns heated up the Reno Events Center outscoring the Erie Bayhawks by 26 points, with a final score of 156-130.

The Bighorns came off of the bench on fire, only giving up the lead five times in the first quarter, before the Bighorns sprinted off with the lead the remainder of the game. The Bighorns scored 90 points in the second half.

Newly acquired Bighorn, Quincy Miller, led the Bighorns, netting 31 points, adding four rebounds and going 6-10 at the three-point line. Bighorns guard Brady Heslip, totaled 27 points, four rebounds, and went 8-13 from behind the arc.

Six Bighorns scored in double-digits tonight. Jordan Hamilton added 22 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Tajuan Porter scored 19 points, and ended with four rebounds and four assists.

Kings assignee Eric Moreland grabbed 10 rebounds. Moreland is currently leading the NBA Development League in rebounds averaging 13.2 per game. 7'5" 355 pound Sim Bhullar finished with five blocked shots and five rebounds.

The Bayhawk's Daniel Coursey led the team with 28 points, and 14 rebounds. Luke Loucks went 3-4 at the three point line, and ended with six assists.

The Bighorns hit the road this week to take on the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday, December 18.
