Bighorns Aquire Former NBA Player Quincy Miller, Eric Moreland Reassigned by Kings

RENO, NEV., Dec. 12, 2014- Today, the Reno Bighorns have acquired former NBA player Quincy Miller off waivers from the Denver Nuggets, and the Sacramento Kings rookie forward Eric Moreland was re-assigned by the Kings.

Miller (6'9", 210), played 59 games (16 game starts) with the Denver Nuggets (2012-14), with career averages of 4.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. Hamilton was selected in the second round with the 38th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets.

Miller played collegiately at Baylor, and was named All Big-12 All-Rookie in 2012, and received an Honorable Mention All-Big in 2012.

Moreland is averaging 14.4 points (.589 FG%), 13.6 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.8 steals and 29.6 minutes per game in five games this season for the Bighorns.

The undrafted rookie from Oregon State was last assigned to Reno on Nov. 28.

Miller and Moreland will be on the Bighorns court tonight, when the Bighorns take-on the Idaho Stampede at 7pm. Sunday, the Bighorns will play at home again, hosting the Erie Bayhawks at 5 p.m. Every fan who makes a nonperishable food donation either night at the doors of the Reno Events Center will receive one ticket to the night's game.
