Two batters later, Khoury singled home both runners to make it 11-6. A Jake Kahaulelio walk and a Colt Loehrs pinch-hit, infield single set up a bases loaded free pass to Ziegler. Cole Armstrong stretched the lead to 14-6 with a line drive single to center that brought in Kahaulelio and Rodriguez. Amberson drove in Wichita's 15th run later in the inning when he beat out an infield single on a high chopper to third base.
Kahaulelio hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth while Amberson hit another RBI, infield single to make it 18-6.
