COLUMBUS, GA - On Sunday June 2nd at 4:00 PM ET, the Columbus Lions of the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) will host the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks on "Family Night." Beginning with an opening gate time of 3:00 PM, Sunday's matinee extravaganza will feature a family-fun affordable event for the entire family. As part of the year-long conquest of "The Year of the Fan" as the first 150 military members get a front row view for free along with kids 12 and under get in free with the purchase of a lower level ticket. There will also be $1 hotdogs, $1 cokes, and $1 popcorn concessions all game long.
Sunday's pre-game festivities will kick-off with all participating members of the Columbus Lions Youth Indoor Football League getting recognized in a special pre-game ceremony. Members of the Chattahoochee Council Boy Scouts will also be in attendance presenting the colors and Boy Scouts in attendance receive a Columbus Lions Scout Night uniform patch.
Columbus Lions will also be welcoming groups from Woodruff Properties, Kellogg's Snacks, Columbus Softball League, and Saddlebrook Homeowners Association of Phenix City. Fans don't forget to pick up your McDonald's Football Bingo cards and Subway Pass the Pigskin balls as the first three winners of each contest take home $25 gift certificates courtesy of McDonald's and Subway.
In addition, be sure to try your hand at Halftime Lotto Ball Mania sponsored by The Georgia Lottery. One lucky fan will receive $300 in Georgia Lottery tickets and a $100 Georgia Lottery prize package. Past winners include Daniel Woods, Joey Secord, and Tequila Ezell (must be 18 or older to win).
