Knighthawks to Hold Championship Parade June 3rd in Rochester

May 21, 2013 - The Rochester Knighthawks will hold a 2013 NLL Championship Parade on Monday, June 3rd at 10:30 a.m. The procession will start at The Blue Cross Arena and end at City Hall on Church Street. Rochester Mayor Thomas S. Richards will then hand Knighthawks Owner and General Manager Curt Styres the Key to the City.

With an 11-10 win over the Washington Stealth on May 11th, Rochester became the first team to win back-to-back NLL titles since the Toronto Rock (2002-03). The Championship was the fourth in the team's 19-year history.

On June 3rd, the players and staff will transport the Cup through the streets in a caravan of vehicles that will include wrapped cars driven by the fans. The Knighthawks will also hold an evening celebration at The Blue Cross Arena from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event will be free and open to the public. More details will be announced in the coming days.
