Arias to AAA Tacoma, Kittredge Returns to Jackson

Jackson, TN - The Seattle Mariners have made the following roster moves, effecting the Jackson Generals roster. RHP Jonathan Arias has been promoted to AAA Tacoma and RHP Andrew Kittredge has been activated from AAA Tacoma. Kittredge will wear jersey #24 tonight.

ARIAS, 25, made 12 relief appearances for the Generals this season posting an 0-1 record, with a 4.43 ERA in 20.1 innings pitched. Arias is a native of Nizao, Dominican Republic and was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Mariners in 2006.

KITTREDGE, 23, began the season with Jackson and after 2 appearances was promoted to AAA Tacoma. With the Rainiers, Kittredge appeared in 10 games, 1 start and was 0-0, with a 7.27 ERA in 17.1 IP. The Spokane, Washington native was Seattle's 45th round draft choice in 2008 out of the University of Washington.

Jackson's roster currently holds at 25 players, with three on the disabled list.
