Royals Ready for Kelly Cup Rally on Penn Street

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, cordially invite everyone in the Greater Reading Region to join the team for the Kelly Cup Rally on Penn Street this Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm., to help the Royals prepare for the Kelly Cup Championship Finals, which begin on Saturday at the Sovereign Center.

The Rally will be held at 8th and Penn Street in Reading-directly outside Sovereign Center entrance which leads to the Fan Attic Merchandise Outlet. The Rally will feature an opportunity for fans to meet and greet their favorite Royals-and get their photos and autographs. The Rally will also give fans a chance to loosen up their vocal cords as we all voice our opinion (hopefully rather loudly) about the Royals' first trip ever to the Kelly Cup Finals. The Royals also expect to have a new selection of Kelly Cup-related merchandise, so fans can get properly attired for Saturday's Championship series opener.

Please note that FREE parking will be available in the DoubleTree Garage directly across from the Sovereign Center beginning at 5 p.m. FREE parking will only be in the DoubleTree Garage, which can be accessed from Court Street.

Also, as a reminder to Royals Season Ticket Holders, you may purchase additional tickets in person or over the telephone at your Kelly Cup Finals Season Ticket Holder price. Call the Royals at 610-898-PUCK (7825) or visit the Royals Ticket Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday of this week.

The Royals take on the Stockton Thunder in the best-of-seven Kelly Cup Championship Finals starting with Game One on Saturday, May 18 @ 7:05 pm at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. Saturday's game night broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Steve Moyer Subaru at 6:35 pm. Ticket information for the ECHL's Kelly Cup Championship Finals matchup between the Reading Royals and the Stockton Thunder can be obtained by calling the Royals office (610-898-PUCK) or by logging onto the Royals website: www.royalshockey.com.
