Fighting Falcons and McMorran Arena to Add Suites

Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons are proud to announce that they have come to an agreement with McMorran Arena to add VIP suites for the 2013-14 season. Section 22 will be renovated to create suites with barstool-style chairs and tables.

Fans who purchase a suite will sit at ice level at the arena's East end, the Fighting Falcons' offensive zone during the first and third periods. Food and drinks can be ordered from wait staff and delivered to the suites.

The Fighting Falcons worked with St. Clair County Community College Professor of Engineering Graphics Christopher Hiebert, who provided conceptual designs of possible layouts for the VIP suites. Hiebert's design is not a final representation of the suites, but shows great promise for what is possible in the space.

"We are very excited to be able to offer VIP suites to our fans next season," said Fighting Falcons Director of Operations Mike Reed. "We are always looking to improve the fan experience, and in working with McMorran Arena and Mr. Hiebert at SC4, we feel like we will be able to offer an experience no previous teams have attempted here.

"The majority of our seats will still cost just $8, but we wanted to be able to offer a VIP experience to groups looking for a great night in downtown Port Huron," Reed added.

Pricing for a suite for any 2013-14 Fighting Falcons home game begins at $140 for a suite for up to 10 fans. A larger suite that can accommodate up to 15 people will be $200. VIP suites are also available as part of sponsorship packages.
