ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, are proud to announce that through the 2012-13 season, with the help of generous fans and partners, they helped contribute $517,940.70 to the community; the most in team history.

The Reign and their charitable branch, the Hope Reigns Foundation, gave back to the community through ticket and merchandise donations, in-game fundraising, live jersey auctions, and group fundraising tickets. Through the season, the Reign contributed a total of $84,308.55 worth of tickets and merchandise to various non-profit organizations in the community. Community Corner, a program new to the Reign, gave fans the opportunity to purchase group tickets to be given to local, non-profit, youth organizations. Many generous donors made group nights possible for these organizations with a total of $2,009.84 worth of tickets being given. To kick off the season, the Hope Reigns Foundation presented the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House with a check for $15,303 from the proceeds of the second annual Hope Reigns Golf Classic held in October. To support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Reign and Nestle Pure Life Water held a silent auction for a specialty, team-signed pink jersey at one of the team's home games which raised $778.80.

The team celebrated all branches of the military in November with Military Appreciation Jersey Night benefitting Stater Bros. Charities. The team wore American flag themed jerseys which were auctioned immediately following the game in a live auction. The event raised $32,515 for Stater Bros. Charities.

To celebrate the holiday season, the Reign hosted their annual Teddy Bear Toss on December 8, sponsored by Unleash Solar. For each bin that was filled with stuffed animals, Good Will made a contribution to the Hope Reigns Foundation. A Colton Yellow Horn goal lit the lamp and the fans let the fur fly when they threw their teddy bears and other stuffed animals onto the ice. Later in the month, the Reign players wore an LA Kings-inspired jersey for Affiliate Jersey Night. The proceeds from the auction totaled $25,000.86 and benefitted the Upland Community Foundation, to benefit the Upland Public Library and the Hope Reigns Foundation.

February was a busy month for the team with two specialty jersey nights, a United Way benefit, Fire on Ice V, a team visit to Danbury School, the Kings-Reign Poker Shootout, and the start of Read Across America. Reign fans showed their continued support and generosity helping raise $33,200 for the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter. The jerseys that were auctioned were designed by Reign fan Brittney Ingersoll as part of an online voting contest during the off-season. The following weekend, the Reign opened their doors to the Ontario Fire Department and the NYFD for their Fire on Ice V charity game and chili cook-off. The Ontario USO was the recipient of the fundraising efforts of this night. In addition to the proceeds from group tickets, the USO received $17,680 through the various fundraising efforts of the Ontario Fire Department and Ontario Reign. The University of La Verne's Go Green/Teacher Appreciation Jersey Night brought in $22,416 for the school's student scholarship fund.

The United Way Winter Benefit was a huge success earning an impressive $15,000 in just a few hours, these funds were raised for the United Way, the Hope Reigns Foundation and Together We Rise.

Later in the month, the entire team headed to Danbury School to visit students of varying physical and mental abilities for the day. They played their annual hockey game; Danbury students "The Dragons" versus Reign players, and the Dragons are still undefeated! The players got to play other games, color, and spend quality time with the children of Danbury.

The Reign joined forces with the LA Kings for the Kings-Reign Royal Charity Poker Shootout. The tournament raked in $9,500 for the Hope Reigns Foundation and the San Gabriel Children's Center.

The final month of the regular season was another eventful month. Throughout March the team hosted their final specialty jersey night to benefit the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, attended several more schools for Read Across America, and hosted their year-end gala to benefit the Be Perfect Foundation, presented by the Claremont Club. The Humane Society Jersey Night collected $31,500 in the jersey auction alone.

The players went to a total of ten schools to read to students of various ages and teach them the importance of education and following your dreams. The season-ending gala was a huge success - the most successful auction of the season and the most successful gala auction of all-time! Friends of the Reign opened their hearts and wallets and helped raise a whopping $40,200 for the Be Perfect Foundation through the jersey auction.

With the excitement of the LA Kings' journey to the playoffs, and their return after the lockout, the Hope Reigns Foundation auctioned off tickets online which brought in $2,750 for the foundation.
