Boston Breakers News Release

Saturday's game against Chicago is our first home game since the Boston Marathon tragedy. Prior to, during, and after Saturday's game, we will sell blue & yellow "Boston Strong-Breakers Pride" wristbands.

All proceeds go to The One Fund Boston, Inc. You pay your own price (minimum $1). If we do not sell out of the wristbands at the game, they will be available for sale on our website beginning Monday, May 6.

During warmups, the players will be wearing Nike Boston Strong T-shirts, which will later be autographed by the players and auctioned off on our website Monday, May 6, with the proceeds going to The One Fund Boston.

Also, we will hold a moment of silence prior to the game in remembrance of those who lost their lives and the more than 270 people injured.

Saturday's game close to selling out!

The Breakers are fresh off Saturday's 2-1, come-from-behind win over the Western New York Flash. Heather O'Reilly garnered NWSL Player of the Week honors after she scored both goals to seal the victory.
