WALLA WALLA, Wash. - For the fourth consecutive year, local children will be able to join Walla Walla Sweets players on the field for the starting lineups and national anthem. The Field of Dreams program, presented by Columbia Rural Electric Association, will once again be part of the Sweets pre-game festivities.
"The Field of Dreams has been very successful over the last three years, and is a promotion that gives children in the community a unique opportunity," said Sweets vice president and general manager, Zachary Fraser. "We're very proud to partner with Columbia REA. to bring this program back for our fourth season."
The Field of Dreams program allows individual children to sign up to run out onto the Borleske Stadium field with Walla Walla Sweets players. To sign up, parents must complete a form for each child who wishes to participate. Forms can be picked up at the Columbia REA Walla Walla office, located at 2929 Melrose Street or at the Dayton Office located at 115 E.
