
Sweets to Host 4th Annual Season Party

WALLA WALLA, Wa. - The Walla Walla Sweets celebrated the start of the Major League Baseball season on April 1 by launching single-game ticket sales for the 2013 season. This week the team is excited to announce details behind the 4th annual first pitch event that kicks off the start of every season. On May 2 the team invites fans to join them at the Columbia REA Community Room from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M for food, drinks, and special guests.
New play-by-play broadcaster Howard Hoffman will play host for the evening, and the team will welcome special guest Ken Levine. Levine is an Emmy Award-winning television personality and Hollywood writer, director, and producer of popular shows (M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier, and Everybody Loves Raymond). Levine is also a Major League Baseball broadcasting veteran, having worked for the Baltimore Orioles, San Diego Padres, and Seattle Mariners.
Tickets to the event are $10 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. The price of admission includes pizza, snacks and soft drinks. To purchase tickets to the event call John at 509.522.BALL or visit the Sweets Shoppe in Downtown Walla Walla.
The Walla Walla Sweets will open the 2013 season of West Coast League baseball on June 5 at 7:05 P.M. with Opening Day presented by Northwestern Mutual. Single game tickets are available at the Sweets Shoppe, online, on the mobile app for Apple and Android devices, or by calling 509.522. BALL.
