
Arkansas Freshman Set to Join Chucks

(Wausau) - This week, the Woodchucks would like to welcome University of Arkansas freshman Garrett Rucker to the 2013 roster. A 6'1" outfielder out of Arkadelphia, Ark, Rucker will come to the Woodchucks looking to gain valuable experience in the Northwoods League
Rucker was a highly touted player coming out of high school. He was ranked as a top 500 recruit and sixth best player in the state of Arkansas by Perfect Game. Rucker was named a 2012 honorable mention Louisville Slugger high school All-American after his junior year where he hit .398 with 12 home runs and 32 RBI. He was a three time all-state selection and four time all-conference honoree.
The Woodchucks season begins May 29th at Athletic Park when the Green Bay Bullfrogs come to town. First pitch is at 6:35pm. Season tickets, 7-game packs, luxury suites and group outing packages are on sale now. To book yours or get more information, call the Woodchucks office at (715) 845-5055.
