"The Red Claws were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Steve Griswold. He was not only a part-owner of the Red Claws, he was a tremendous fan, and we will miss seeing him sitting courtside. Steve was a gregarious, larger-than-life man who would greet a stranger as warmly as he would a friend, and we join with the entire Red Claws family in sending our thoughts and prayers to his wife Peg and their children. Steve will be greatly missed."
