Austin, TX - With 25 seconds left on the clock and the Toros down two in overtime, Jamarr Sanders hit a wide-open three to take the lead and solidify the 106-103 win against the Tulsa 66ers Saturday evening at Cedar Park Center. Despite a strong third quarter for the Toros, the Tulsa 66ers used a 33-point fourth quarter to come back and take the game to overtime. After Sanders' three-point shot the Toros made a huge defensive stop and Tulsa was forced to foul JaMychal Green who sealed the win from the free-throw line. The Toros (16-13) were anchored by Green who finished with a new personal high 29 points and 21 rebounds in what was undoubtedly his best performance of the season.
Sanders, who was just 1-7 from three-point range before hitting the game-winning basket, would finish with 10 points and a game-high six assists. Rick Jackson contributed 18 points and eight boards. Spurs Assignee Cory Joseph added in 16 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Rasual Butler led the way for Tulsa (15-14) finishing with a season-high 28 points and seven rebounds. Dominique Sutton chipped in 20 points as well.
