Amerks Alumni to Take Part in "Mend a Broken Heart Pub Crawl" for Harbor House

(Rochester, NY)... Members of the Rochester Americans Alumni Association will take part in the Fourth Annual "Mend A Broken Heart Pub Crawl" to benefit the Harbor House of Rochester on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will seek to raise money for Harbor House and awareness for heart disease.
The Pub Crawl will take place at four different establishments in the East End neighborhood. Amerks Hall of Famers Geordie Robertson and Scott Metcalfe will join 13 WHAM News anchors Doug Emblidge and Norma Holland as celebrity bartenders scheduled to attend. There will also be door prizes, drink specials and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds go to the Harbor House of Rochester, which provides temporary lodging for family members of patients who have traveled 50-plus miles to be treated at a Rochester-area hospital. These patients are being treated for serious medical conditions such as heart failure, liver/ kidney failure or traumatic injury.
Advance tickets are available at Salinger's Bar and Grill, Matthews East End Grill and Temple Bar and Grille. Tickets will also be sold the day of the fundraiser.
