Holmes Debut a Success

(Summerside, PE) Ralphy Holmes made his first game in a Summerside STORM uniform a success as he led all scorers with 24 points as the STORM pushed their season record past the .500 mark with a 102-92 win over visiting Windsor Friday night in front of 2,083 fans in Summerside.

Al Stewart scored 21 points and added 7 assists while Antonio Ballard had another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Mike Holmes had 24 to lead Windsor while Darren Duncan had 22 points to go along with 12 assists.

The winner of the evening's 50-50 was Amanda Garnhum of Rose Valley who won half the total pot of $3,476. The winner of the Greco Pizza was Rob Sonnenberg while John Inglis won the "Shoot to Win" and has his name entered in the southern vacation from Fly PEI and the Travel Store. Section "G" was the winner of a free slice of pizza as the STORM won and went over 100 points. Fans sitting in section "G" can take their game tickets from tonight's game to Greco Pizza in Summerside on Monday for a free slice of pizza.

The STORM will be visiting Charlottetown tomorrow for the Col. Gray Invitational Men's Basketball Tournament between 12 and 3 pm and having dinner at Boston Pizza between 4-5pm.
