Mammoth Single-Game Tickets on Sale Next Wednesday

DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that single-game tickets for all 2013 Mammoth regular-season home games will go on sale next Wednesday, December 12 (12/12/12) at 12:00pm. Colorado, which finished 2012 with the National Lacrosse League's second-best record, seeks its second Champion's Cup in team history.

"The quest begins on 1/12, so we instantly fell in love with 12/12 at 12," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett, referring to the on sale date and time. The Mammoth hosts the Washington Stealth on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center on Opening Night.

On February 2, the franchise hosts the fourth annual "˜Lacrosse Out Cancer' Night in an effort to put an end to the disease. Two weeks later, Colorado pays tribute to the armed forces with the debut of Military Appreciation Night in what promises to be a moving and passionate event.

The team will celebrate the birthday of its mascot, Wooly, on Saturday, March 2 as the defending champion Rochester Knighthawks come to town. Then, the night before St. Patrick's Day, the Mammoth will debut green jerseys and themed shorts.

Mutton bustin' returns to "˜The Loudest House in Lacrosse' on Saturday, March 30 on National Western Stock Show Night. The turf tradition will also be marked by a herding exhibition at halftime.

The regular-season home finale on Saturday, April 13 against the Minnesota Swarm is Fan Appreciation Night. Minnesota knocked Colorado out of the postseason in the West Division Semifinals this past May.

Reigning NLL MVP John Grant Jr. is coming off the best year in league history, having set a new single-season points record (116) despite missing two games. Adam Jones, the third-overall pick in the 2011 NLL Draft, was named the league's Rookie of the Year. Captain Gavin Prout had arguably the best regular season of his storied career with 83 points in 14 appearances.

Single-game tickets start at just $10 apiece and will be available for purchase at all TicketHorse outlets, the Pepsi Center Box Office, online at TicketHorse.com or by phone at 303.53.HORSE. Mammoth "Party Pack" tickets will also be available. Party Packs include four tickets, four beer or Pepsis and four hot dogs for only $49.
