The 2012 football season may be over, but the Calgary Stampeders will remain active in and around Calgary during the winter months to meet with fans, sign autographs and, most importantly, support many worthy causes. Here are some of the club's community appearances for the first half of December:

Date: Saturday, Dec. 1

Time: 10 a.m. to noon

Attending: Keon Raymond, Marc Calixte

Event: The Salvation Army Santa Shuffle

Location: Eau Claire Market - 200 Barclay Parade SW

Details: Fundraisers dressed in holiday outfits run a lap of Prince's Island Park, with the Stampeders players present at the start and finish lines

Date: Thursday, Dec. 6

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Attending: Matt Walter

Event: Children's College Radiothon

Location: Banker's Hall - 315 8th Ave. SW

Details: Walter will sign autographs in return for a donation during a radiothon to raise funds in support of the Children's Cottage

Date: Friday, Dec. 7

Time: Noon to 4 p.m.

Attending: Randy Chevrier and defensive line coach DeVone Claybrooks

Event: AM 770 CHQR Christmas radiothon

Location: The Westin - 320 4th Ave. SW

Details: Chevrier and Claybrooks will work the phones to help raise funds for the Calgary Children's Foundation

Date: Tuesday, Dec. 11

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Attending: Randy Chevrier and head coach John Hufnagel

Event: Seniors' Christmas dinner

Location: The Carriage House - 9030 Macleod Tr. SE

Details: Stampeders players and Coach Huff will assist in serving a Christmas meal to senior citizens
