Petovello Returns to Sundogs

November 27, 2012 - Central Hockey League (CHL) - Arizona Sundogs News Release


Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs announced today they have signed former Sundogs player Kevin Petovello.

Petovello joined the Sundogs last season in December for his rookie campaign. The 6-foot, 190-pound British Columbia native skated in 44 games during his 2011-12 season and tallied 13 goals and 15 assists. He was ranked sixth on the Sundogs' team for overall points. He began his 2012-13 season with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he saw 10 games and registered one assist.

Petovello spent his collegiate career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and collected 20 goals and 30 assists in 127 games. In 2010-11 he received the Terry Flanagan Memorial Award in recognition of his perseverance, dedication and courage while recovering from an injury he sustained to his knee.
