Stepan notched the first Black Hawk hat trick of the season Thursday, helping the Hawks to a Thanksgiving win. In total over three games, he recorded four goals, five assists, and was +2.
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - Victor Newell
With three points, Newell was Waterloo's top scoring defenseman and the Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week as a result. He had an even plus-minus rating.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Cal Petersen
Making 52 saves on 58 shots, the Waterloo goaltender backstopped the Hawks to a pair of victories over the archrival Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
Convenient Care Heart of the Week - Taylor Cammarata
Cammarata scored his 100th career point Saturday. In each of three games last week, the veteran forward recorded a goal and two assists. He also tied for the team plus-minus lead at +5.
