Canton enjoyed as much as a 17-point lead early on in the contest, but Maine kept pressing throughout the second and third quarters to climb back in the game. The Red Claws outscored the Charge 73-58 over that span, taking the lead with 18.2 seconds left in the third and never falling behind again the rest of the game.

Arinze Onuaku also put up a double-double for Canton with 11 points, 11 rebounds and one block in 17 minutes. The Charge outrebounded Maine 49-42 in the game, including a team record 20 offensive boards.

Also on assignment from Boston, Fab Melo had two points and four blocks in 20 minutes.
