Checkers to Hold Hurricane Sandy Relief Drive Saturday, Sunday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers will hold a clothing and toy drive for the victims of Hurricane Sandy this Saturday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (3 p.m.) when they host the Oklahoma City Barons.

Fans who bring new or like-new clothing for aid and/or toys for Christmas presents will receive a free ticket to the Saturday, Dec. 15 game against the Houston Aeros. The items will be delivered to Sandy victims in mid-December.
