2012 Under-18 Four Nations Tournament Begins Today in Michigan

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program and its U.S. National Under-18 Team will play host to the 2012 Under-18 Four Nations Tournament in Ann Arbor, Mich., beginning today (Nov. 6) and running through Saturday (Nov. 10).
Along with the U.S., other competing teams include Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. All games of the Four Nations Tournament will take place at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube, which serves as the home of the NTDP.

Adults may purchase a day pass for $10 or opt for a tournament pass for $35. Children, students and seniors will be admitted for $5 or a tournament pass can be purchased for $15. Groups of 10 or more will be offered a rate of $5 per ticket. All tickets are general admission.
Events and promotions surrounding the tournament include a magnet schedule giveaway featuring the U.S. National Under-18 Team (Nov. 6); Under-18 Four Nations Tournament team flag giveaway (Nov. 7); USA Hockey wristband giveaway (Nov. 9); and thundersticks will be given away on Saturday (Nov. 10) for the final two tournament games. All giveaways are available while supplies last.
On Wednesday (Nov. 7), the Detroit Red Wings' Justin Abdelkader, Patrick Eaves, and Jimmy Howard will be on hand to drop the ceremonial first puck before Team USA faces off against Switzerland at 7 p.m. The trio will then be available to sign autographs for fans during the first intermission.
Abdelkader and Howard last represented the U.S. at the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship in May. Eaves helped the U.S. capture the gold medal at the 2004 IIHF World Junior Championship.
