The Black Hawks' Players of the Week are listed below. Players of the Week are selected each Monday by Waterloo coaches and staff and posted on waterlooblackhawks.com.
FishSticks Millwork Offensive Player of the Week - Zach Stepan
The first two goals during the USHL career of forward Zach Stepan were game-winners. He broke a 1-1 tie Friday and scored the opening goal Saturday, helping the Hawks to a pair of victories.
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - Cal Petersen
Petersen stopped every shot which came his way during his season debut to take Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week honors. His 25 saves helped Waterloo to a 2-0 win Saturday.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Eamon McAdam
With 37 stops on Friday, McAdam helped preserve a 4-1 Waterloo win against the Green Bay Gamblers. Both of the games McAdam has won in 2012/13 have been against Green Bay.
Convenient Care Heart of the Week - Justin Kloos
Kloos took over the Black Hawks' scoring lead with a goal and three assists. He set up the game-winning goal by linemate Zach Stepan both Friday and Saturday.
