
Tigers Trade Kale Kessy to Vancouver Giants

Medicine Hat, AB - Medicine Hat Tigers announced this afternoon they have traded 20-year-old forward Kale Kessy to the Vancouver Giants. The Tigers will receive a conditional 5th round pick in the 2015 WHL bantam draft.
"We would like to thank Kale for the time, effort and contribution he made over the last three seasons to our organization," stated Tigers' g.m./head coach Shaun Clouston. "We wish Kale great success with the Giants."
The move of Kessy to Vancouver brings the Tigers into line with the WHL's 20-year-old limit of three players. The three 20-year-olds will be recently acquired Derek Ryckman and Elgin Pearce along with defenseman Alex Theriau who is now back in Medicine Hat finishing up rehab after off season surgery.
The Tigers embark on a busy weekend with three games in three nights beginning in Red Deer tonight prior to hosting Prince George tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.and Saskatoon on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
