Date a Condor, Our City Isn't Bankrupt Night & Voodoo Doll Giveaway Highlight New Promotions
September 12, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL) Bakersfield Condors
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The 15th season of hockey in Condorstown is shaping up to be the best ever and some new early season promotions just adds to the excitement. If you've ever wanted to Date a Condor, get a discount for your favorite football team not being that good, or just stick a few pins in a Stockton voodoo doll and more, then be sure to make your way to one of these games this season.FRI. Nov. 16th - KNEE HOCKEY STICK GIVEAWAY
Who says you can't play hockey in the house? The first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a Condors mini hockey stick for those fun games of knee hockey with your friends and siblings. As long as you don't break anything, we're sure your parents won't mind.
SAT. Nov. 17th - DATE A CONDOR NIGHT
For the first time in team history, the Condors are giving fans a unique way to interact with the team. Everyone in attendance will receive an entry form to win a "date" with either a player or Head Coach Matt O'Dette. Additional chances to win a date will be available for purchase for those who really want to win a date with a specific Condor. The more you buy, the better your chances of winning. There will be video bios and pitches posted on Condors.TV in the weeks prior to the game as well as run on the jumbotron for your viewing pleasure.
TUES, Nov. 20th - $1 DOGS AND HALF PRICE BEER
Come down and enjoy some pre-Thanksgiving fun as we kick off Thanksgiving break with discounts on hot dogs (just $1) and half price beer through the end of the first intermission.
SUN. Dec. 9th - FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM NIGHT
Wear your favorite football team's jersey (NFL, College, High School) to the game and receive a special ticket price of however many wins your team has when your purchase the ticket (starting Dec. 1st). For instance, if the Raiders are terrible and only have one win in December, and you're a member of Raider Nation, then throw on that Carson Palmer jersey and get a lower level executive ticket (while supplies last) for just $1. Hey, your favorite football team may stink, but at least you're saving money on watching your favorite hockey team.
THURS. Dec. 27th - OUR CITY ISN'T BANKRUPT NIGHT
Condorstown isn't bankrupt, but Stockton is. They're in town and we're going to show them just how much we're rolling in the dough by giving away a Rolls Royce to a select few and $1 Million Dollars to EVERYONE in attendance. Maybe a Stockton fan will win and can donate it back to their city to help them out. Or sell the Rolls Royce for a few extra bucks. We're all about lending a helping hand in Condorstown.
FRI. Dec. 28th - VOODOO DOLL GIVEAWAY
As if they didn't have enough bad luck, the Condors are giving away custom Stockton Thunder Voodoo Dolls to the first 2,000 fans, 5 and older. The dolls are perfect for inflicting pain (on the scoreboard of course) on the Thunder as the teams battle on the ice. Come out and put the hex on our neighbors to the north.
