
Wilmington Sharks Raise Money for Charity

Wilmington Sharks News Release
Wilmington, NC; September 5, 2012 - The Wilmington Sharks announced today they will hold a check presentation on Thursday, September 6th beginning at 2 p.m. at the office of Rob Cutting State Farm, located at 432 Eastwood Road, Suite 100.
The Sharks will be presenting a check to Paws Place Dog Rescue. Monies were raised through a season long promotion "K's" for Canines.
All City of Wilmington officials, media, sponsors and Sharks fans are invited to attend.
The Wilmington Sharks are members of Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Preparing for its 17th season, The Coastal Plain League features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer. The CPL has had over 1,000 alumni drafted and 55 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
