The Gwinnett Gladiators have agreed to terms with defenseman Cody Brookwell for the 2012-13 season.

Before he began his professional career, the Calgary, Alberta, native played four seasons at the University of Denver from 2006-2010. Brookwell was named to the WCHA All-Academic Team in his senior season as he led the University of Denver in blocked shots.
