(Bridgeport, Conn. - August 29, 2012) - How would you like for a Bluefish player to wear YOUR jersey at Harbor Yard? The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced they will be offering all fans the special opportunity to own a unique piece of Bluefish memorabilia.
The Bluefish will be ordering special home-white uniforms for the final homestand of the 2012 season (September 14-20). The team will be pre-selling these uniforms on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the opportunity to personalize the jersey. Any fan that purchases a uniform will have their name (first initial, last name) embroidered on the right sleeve. Fans can place any name on the jersey, which makes this a great gift idea and a unique way to honor a special someone.
The Bluefish players will be wearing this personalized item for six games at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard with your special name for everyone to see.
Each uniform costs only $100 and fans can either have a number randomly designated to them or for an extra $25 have the opportunity to choose the number of their favorite Bluefish player.
Fans can purchase these exclusive personalized, game-worn jerseys by calling 203-416-1725, sending an email to raanonsen@bridgeportbluefish.com or by visiting The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. These items may be purchased by cash or credit and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each game-worn jersey can be picked up at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard following the conclusion of the 2012 season or will be mailed with an additional shipping fee. Sizes range from large to XXL.
