Norm Ezekiel Signs with IceCaps

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that former forward Norm Ezekiel has signed a contract with the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.The un-drafted forward spent two full seasons with the Colts and put up a total of 262 penalty minutes in 124 regular season games in Barrie.
Last season the Barrie native had five goals and four assists for nine points, while playing in all but two of the Colts regular season games.
The 21-year old also notched three points and 29 penalty minutes in 13 playoff games.
Ezekiel, who is no longer eligible to play in the Ontario Hockey League, attended the Winnipeg Jets development camp last month along with Mark Scheifele and Ivan Telegin.
