Fans enjoyed another thrilling night at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. Fans donated numerous school supplies and over $600 towards Cram the Van to help area families with back to school shopping for the upcoming school year. Fans also stuffed bins with hygiene products to help out Families Count with the hygiene drive to aid homeless veterans.

The Wahoos won their second straight game with a 5-0 victory to open their five-game series with the Chattanooga Lookouts. Blue Wahoos shortstop Billy Hamilton stole three more bases giving him 131 on the season. He is now 14 steals shy of matching Vince Coleman's 1983 record of 145.

The Blue Wahoos will continue the homestand on Thursday. Ono? Oh yes! It's Thirsty Thursday with all night beer and soda specials beginning when gates open at 5:30 p.m. Select beers are $2 and canned sodas are $1, presented by Wells Fargo. Also, traveling entertainer Myron Noodleman will entertain fans in the stands and between innings. If you can't make it out to Pensacola Bayfront Stadium, this game will be televised live on WFXG My 35. It will also be streamed live on BlueWahoos.com and it will air tape delayed on the radio on 1450 ESPN Pensacola following the New Orleans Saints game.
