Burlington Bees Make Roster Moves

July 28 - The A's announced RHP Logan Chitwood (#21) will join the Burlington Bees after starting the season with the Vermont Lake Monsters (SS). Chitwood was a 19th round pick of the 2010 draft and had a 3-1 record with a 2.16 ERA in 12 games with the Lake Monsters.July 28 - The A's promoted OF Eliezer Mesa (#4) to the Midland Rockhounds of Double-A ball. Mesa started the season with the Stockton Ports (A+) before joining the Bees at the start of May. At the time of the promotion, Mesa led the Bees in batting average with a .294 clip.
The Bees have 25 players on the active roster.
