PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Milwaukee Brewers and Huntsville Stars have made a pair of roster moves prior to tonight's series finally against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. RHP Hiram Burgos was transferred to Triple-A Nashville. RHP Jimmy Nelson was also activated from the disabled list.

In 13 starts with the Stars, Burgos is 6-1 with a 1.94 ERA (83.1ip/18er). He pitched his first career nine-inning complete game in his last outing on July 24 against Pensacola, allowing just one run on eight hits. The 24-year-old has struck out 77 batters while only allowing 28 walks. He was named the Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Month in June after going 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA (38ip/3er) in six starts. Burgos started the season with High-A Brevard County before being transferred to Huntsville on May 12. He was drafted by the Brewers in the sixth round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft.

Nelson was placed on the disabled list back on July 2 after going 1-0 with a 4.73 ERA in three starts with the Stars. He will start tonight for the series finale in Pensacola.

With these moves, the Stars active roster sits at 24, one below the Southern League limit.

The Stars wrap up a nine-game road trip with a game tonight at Pensacola before returning home for a 10 game homestand on Sunday, July 29.
