
Storm Set "Tebowing" Record During Night of Fellowship

Lake Elsinore, CA - The Single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres the Lake Elsinore Storm set a record Friday collecting the most amount of people "Tebowing" during a postgame testimonial at The Diamond.
On Friday, July 13, The Storm had over 500 fans along the outfield grass "Tebowing" in prayer just as Tim himself will usually do after a team victory.
The Storm scored three runs in the eighth in a comeback 4-1 victory over the High Desert Mavericks.
Back in March, the Storm looked acquire a trade for NFL Quarterback, Tim Tebow for this annual Night of Fellowship in a trade for in-game acts the Grounds Crew Gorilla and the Rally Cop.
"We know that Tim was the cause for late-game comebacks in Denver and we have our own leader of rallies, the Rally Cop. We would like to offer the Broncos the Rally Cop as well as the Grounds Crew Gorilla, winner of an MiLB Golden Bobble head last season, in exchange for Tebow," said Jones.
The Night of Fellowship is a chance to treat fans to a night of baseball, faith, fireworks.
